Our work is performed to thousands of people in a range of settings from large scale events to local community festivals and town centre festivals.
About Living Frontier
History comes to life in vivid and spectacular detail with a programme of events along one of the world’s most famous frontiers: Hadrian’s Wall - find out more at http: www.livingfrontier.co.uk
BOSi’s project within the Living Frontier Event
BOSi will create a scientific lab environment at Housesteads near Hadrian’s Wall, where boffins will work to retrieve and classify smells from different periods of history, there will be a high level of audience interaction and in addition, there will be theatrical interventions at other sites along Hadrian’s Wall, as our boffins collect smells and monitor ‘aromatic activity’!
The build up to the project will take place in London at BOSi’s base in Brixton, and the team working on the project will travel to Northumberland on 26th May to set up the installation ready for opening to the public on 28th May. The installation will run until 31st May. Closely following on from this project, BOSi will deliver other work at several events around the country, with several key events in the North. It will be important for the Production Manager to have an input into how logistics will work for the main project and the events that follow it.
